There are
surveys and research made on
gender equality in the US academe, and found that discrimination still exists and these also give
advice for women about it. But is it better than what we have
here in the Philippines, or are we better off than those in the US? If discrimination is so bad, then that somehow makes preparing for graduate school, such as checking
examples of personal statements and sample
essay about myself, somehow in vain since one can't easily attain success in the academe. Is there any comparative study that looks at the situation both in the Philippines and the US?
