Physical Description: His hair is styled to the front. He has tatoos all over his body, with tape tied around his forearms and waist, and a cape on his back. He also has red sunglasses, and carries around a nodachi.

Basic Personality:
Possessing a seemingly arrogant personality, he is very passionate about his goals and will reach for them without a trace of fear, hesitation, or sense. He has a knack of making on-the-whim plans, most of which has a habit of working. He has a never-say-die attitude when it comes to fighting, and hesitates only when it comes to retreating, although this was the case, as a guerrilla fighter, he knows very well the importance of doing so.
Background Story:
Living in a trade port in Japan, Hayato fell victim to the terror of war at a young age. When Britannia invaded Japan, the port of Nagasaki was one of the important targets. Because of the Knightmare Frames, it fell reasonably fast, and much of the people who lived in the port town were massacred. Luckily, Hayato managed to survive and lived with foster parents.
Being the free spirit that he was, Hayato got into many fights, much of them almost made him lose his life. Being aware of this, his parents thought that it would be best that he would learn to fight at an early age. Thus, he was taught the way of the sword.
During the mass revolution, his entire family joined in, including Kamina himself. He was able to capture a Knigtmare Frame, though when he finally learned how to operate it, the revolution was already being pushed back. Without much choice, he forced himself back and had the Knightmare scrapped so that he could join guerrilla fighters without risk, much to his own dismay.
