Basic Personality:
Leader of the Diamonbacks, Aile is a strong-willed person who always avoids relying on others. She is very confident--consummate leadership material. At first, has the behavior of an Amazon, she detests men and is disgusted whenever they approach her. She rarely smiles, only doing so a few times.

Background Story:
Aile was the only child of Albert Blanche a human and Serah Deparra a Meltrandi. Aile’s father Albert was a soldier of the UN Spacy. He is a skilled valkyrie pilot in his time and was known for his speed and accuracy. On the other hand, Aile’s mother – Serah is a full-blooded Meltrandi who eventually fell in love with a normal human that is Albert. She decided to undergo micronization in order to live together with Albert and start a family on Eden.

Aile grew happy with her family on Eden, while her dad continues to work at New Edwards AFB, she and her mother lived at Eden City and had a peaceful time together. Aile’s mother – Serah works with the Eden City's environmental bureau, using her skills and knowledge to maintain adequate natural resources of the colony.

But because of the influence of "an incident" when she was 5, Aile fell into the trap of mistrust. There is a reason behind Aile’s highly independant attitude. Aile lost her mother when an explosion occurred as a result of the incompetent work of her mother's colleagues in the environmental bureau. Her mother was blamed for the accident, and the stigma affected young Aile who was bullied in school because of it. At almost the same time, her father was reported missing in action during contact with Anti-UN Rebels who raided Eden's moon leaving young Aile alone with no other relatives or friends to adopt her.

This loss hardened Aile into believing that love only causes weakness and pain. Wandering the streets with no desire for life, Aile became nothing more than a thug up until she was 19 - when then Fleet Captain Aidan Pryde found her and told her that if she wanted to die so badly, that she should come join the military and choose the time for her to die.

In the end she was unable to get the real meaning of strength or weakness. She isolated inside herself, she avoided contact with other people more than necessary, thanks to the lack of any other interest, she was good at her job from the start, becoming a promising officer after Pryde sponsored her for the UN Academy on Earth, transforming to an excellent pilot.

Aile worked hard at her training, almost to the point of obsession, and eventually, by the age of 24, came to command the Valkyrie squadron – the SVF- 102 Diamondbacks. However, until she meets the enigmatic Michael and the some other men, her unsociable and cold attitude still persists. While she is very skilled on her own, Aile has yet to learn that in order to win battles, she must rely on others to help her.

Aile ultimately realizes that her mom wasn't weak, and says she herself was the weak one - afraid of knowing others, afraid of exposing herself, and afraid of being hated. Her mother, in her head, tells her not to blame herself, and to open her heart so she could find people to care about. It is also found that the black headpiece that she wears is a gift from her mother - something that eventually turns into something that reminds her of her mistakes. After that, and many other experiences with the men, Aile begins to change and continued to fight in search of her father,

Basic Personality:
Euphemia Li Britannia has a kind, caring and gentle nature but has a strong heart and in her belief. Her kindness for her people made her care for other more than herself. She’s a pacifist – who tries to avoid fights and take part of any wars.

Euphemia is often seen smiling, her smiles that are full of warmth and radiance gives a pleasing feeling to others. However, Euphie has this attitude of not showing her true feelings of sadness in front of other people. She wears a mask of smile in front of everybody to hide her face of loneliness and solitary.

Despite the emotional distress, she tends to perform well to her duties as mayor of City 27, not letting her personal problems hinder her work.

Background Story:
Euphemia Li Britannia came from a prestigious family of politics. Her father – Ola Britannia gave the responsibility of leading the small area of their nation in his place to see the true ability of his daughter. Euphie’s mother died in child birth while delivering her, while her father blamed poor Euphie for the loss of his dear wife.

Euphie grew in a house of silence and solemn, she spent her childhood under the huge pile of books studying in every field of politics. She topped her class and got a straight excellent row of academic records. All of her achievements were dedicated to her father, and yet her hardships and struggles to impress him was unappreciated and neglected.

As Euphie grew into a fine young lady, she took part most of the government work and issues. This came to a result of a great increase of morality to their nation as her father ran. Every time her father goes out in public, he uses her daughter Euphie as a puppet to attract people for his own show to present. Whenever Euphie goes out she always wears a smile in front of everybody, giving an impression of a perfect daughter Ola Britannia has.
When she was 29, she got involved in an incident from a group of terrorist hijacking a civilian transport, she was taken under as a hostage and held for ransom. Being used to such of a captive, she voluntarily gave herself in exchange for the lives and safety of the other civilians. Her brave actions led to a peaceful negotiation and no casualties were done.

News began to spread, and Euphemia got herself to a rank of Lieutenant-Governor in their nation, a role where she admittedly does not enjoy. She despises all combat in general, her ideals conflict with the reality had put her in a situation that aided in her decision of board Macross 27. However, her ideals can get her into trouble, warning her that the policy of discrimination against Honorary Britannians is so firmly-established that she might have to be exposed to the rigors and dangers of competing for the position and power over her father in order to challenge it, in which is not her real intention.

Euphie just wants to seek forgiveness to his father by proving him that she can be reliable and responsible like him. In which she continues to work with it as she ran the Macross City as Mayor.

Basic Personality:
Celestine Winters is a cheerful young teen full of dreams and hopes. She’s strong-willed, competitive girl who strives hard to achieve her goals. She has a somewhat stubbornness factor that basically makes her a brat.

Celest has two important passions in her life. One of them is swimming and the other one is singing. Celest has two important passions in her life. One of them is swimming and the other one is singing. Celest usually sings the songs of the legendary Minmei. She considers her as her idol and model and dreamt about to be like her some day.

Celest may be good in sports and music, but she has a few quirks that made her an extraordinary girl. She is known for taking long baths (up to 3 hours) while singing, collecting shopping catalogs and experimenting with health drinks in which she learned from her grandmother for training her vocals. Her health drinks have earned some degree of infamy, in that while very healthy and capable of curing most ailments (as well as restoring energy), their taste leaves much to be desired. Even manly men have been laid low by her concoctions. And unfortunately, there are no people known to withstand this dreaded beverage. Celest also lacks skills in the field of cooking, she either burn her food into charcoal or make an “out-of-this-world” rice ball that will give anyone an upset stomach for a couple of days.

Background Story:
Celestine was born on the year 2036 on the planet Eden. She lived a normal life with her family and friends, thinking that her life was just as ordinary as everybody else. Celestine Winters is the name she uses when she stood in the light of show business. Her real name remained unknown due to the fact that she wanted to forget the dreaded past the she went through.

When she was 16 year old, Celest is one of the talented female swimmers in their school, she was scouted by many famous sports schools because of her skill. However by this time, Celest was a member of a school rock band that performs at small events. She was the lead vocalist of her group of friends and enjoyed the feeling the music flowing around her. Unfortunately, her parents were outraged knowing that she participates to such “useless” activity as to what her parents said.

Celest then obeyed her parents will and abandoned her singing career and left the band in order to avoid any family conflicts. Her parents pushed her on going through the training as a swimmer that puts a lot of pressure on her self to perform so she does not disappoint others.

As Celest was in an emotional distress, her best fried Farah Orsteid – another athletic swimmer, was there to lend a hand for help and a shoulder for support. As they struggle through the torturous training program, they met a guy named Keil Hershel. At first, Keil is befriended by Celestine only because Celestine’s best friend, Farah Orsteid has a crush on him; however since then, Keil, his pal Shinji Taira, and Celestine have grown to be the best of friends. Then one day, Farah confesses to Keil her love for him. Not wanting to hurt her feelings, Keil agrees to go out with her. After a few incidents, their relationship gets intimate, even while Keil and Celestine begin to realize their feelings for each other.

With Farah confess her feelings to Keil. They started dating from that point on, and eventually fell in love with each another. Though, Celest, Farah’s best friend and the girl who setup Keil to meet Farah on the hill where she confessed her feelings to him, slowly grew feelings for Keil. But suddenly, when tragedy strikes, things are never the same for these four friends again.


One day, Keil was on his way to meet Farah for a date. On his way, he meet Celestine. Celest held up Keil and had him get her a birthday gift, a ring. Since Celest held Keil up, he was late in meeting Farah. A very tragic thing happen to Farah, she was in accident and put into a coma. All because of Keil was not there on time due to Celestine holding him. When Keil and Celest heard the terrible news, Keil eventually fell into a deep depression, blaming himself responsible for Farah’s accident. As time goes by, Keil’s mental condition grows worse and worse. Celestine begins to take care of him because she has feelings for him which she has always kept hidden. Eventually they start dating, and then eventually living together in Keil’s small apartment.

Celestine throws herself at Keil when he fails to climb out of his depression, and reveals her feelings for him. Celest is well-meaning, but suppresses her feelings, allowing them to bottle up and explode in dangerous ways. Celest also believes that she is responsible for her friend's accident, as she was the main reason why Keil was late for his date with Farah.

Then, one day, three years later the year 2055, Farah reawakens from her coma, oblivious to the goings-on of the previous three years. In addition, she is diagnosed with anterograde amnesia. The doctors ask that she be kept uninformed of what has happened in order to protect her fragile psyche. After Farah wakes up, Keil is conflicted with his feelings of guilt and responsibility and must choose between Celestine and Farah.

Celestine, feeling guilty and depressed, decided to break up with Keil so he can go back to Farah. Celest said that Farah needs him more than she is. Shortly after Keil and Farah’s relationship begins to develop again, Celest grows distant and decides to quit, eventually leaving the swimming world altogether.

This made her decides to join Macross 27 and leave everything behind at Eden – her family, her friends even her love. She tried to forget her past by starting over again from scratch. She went on to pursue her true dream in life – to be a star pop idol that sings in front of everybody. By the age of 19, she joined the Miss Macross beauty pageant and is propelled into celebrity pop idol singer.

At the start of her new career, Celest is finally a step closer into achieving her dream – to be like her idol Lynn Minmei. Most of her hit songs were revisions of Minmei’s original songs, turning the melody into a pop tune to relive the songs of the famous songstress. Along with her original music and lyrics of hip pop that she originally wrote, Celest was reborn into a new star that shines at Macross,

Basic Personality:
Unlike her sister Ren, Lulu is a very out going and happy most of the time. She seems to be able to grasp how those around her are feeling very quickly. She enjoys being around a lot of people and being the centre of attention most of the time. She is also a martial artist like her sister and could perform some sword techniques she learned from Ren.

Lulu has the knack of talking too much to people and to her squad mates, she tends to chat like a non-stop radio all out. However, whenever she rides her fighter, Lulu’s out going, cheerful personality turns into a quiet, serious pilot, especially when she’s peeking through her sniper’s scope that always hits her targets accurately. She has the habit of chewing gums in her missions to avoid her mouth from chatting at the tac net and keep focus on her enemies.

Background Story:
Lulu hasn’t really met both her parents yet, her mother and father left due to some duty calls shortly after she was born. All that she know are their faces seen in old photographs and the fact that they are both dead after their last mission. She grew up at New Asia with her older sister Ren and their Grandpa Ramsey. She studied martial arts and sword techniques with her sister, but unlike Ren Lulu has the capacity to be calm and more focus.

When she entered high school and became old enough she began taking flight classes. The classes were second nature to her. Studying flight and controls for as long as she can remember her flight instructors felt she was a dream to teach. The only problem was she was constantly pushing the planes to go faster and faster.

At the earliest possible age, Lulu joined the UN Spacy, wishing of being together with her older sister even if she’s in a different squadron. The obligatory good byes were made and she was off to Spacy Academy as she left her Grandapa and said that she can’t let her sister go. She graduated near the top of her class from the Academy. She was known for her keen eyes and focus as a sharpshooter sniper in her batch. She was then assigned to a deep space patrol unit for starters as a practical exam. It was pretty much routine patrols, not much action. What they did have however was pretty intense. She became good friends with pretty much her entire batch. On their latest trip out, they ran into some horrible luck. It was to be a normal patrol, when a rogue Zentran ship defolded and obliterated the command cadre. Being the senior most pilot left of her squadron, she had no choice but to take command, managing to hold off the enemy pods long enough for reinforcements to arrive. By the end of the day there wasn't many pilots left of her squadron, but everyone performed excellently. Lulu received a promotion and was transferred out to the SVA- 142 Ghostriders.

Basic Personality:
Ren is a well-endowed, sour-faced, hot-tempered and very easily provoked girl. She is the captain of the kendo Club and an upper level martial artist despite the feminine body that she has. Ren is not shy about her body, she usually wears revealing clothing and has no problem with her underwear showing by wearing very short miniskirts.

Ren has the habit of listening to her mp3 player while piloting her fighter, humming to the hip tune of the famous Celestine Winters. She enjoys the bouncy music while concentrating her targets.


Background Story:
Ren Izumi was born to a human VF Pilot and a Meltran clone. Her father, Nara Izumi, meets her mother, Roush Hesh, on leave on New Asia. They were there until after the birth of their last daughter – Lulu, Ren’s younger sister. Then shortly after, they both were called back into active duty in deep space. Not knowing if they would ever return. Her parents left her and Lulu with her grandfather Ramsey Izumi. He would be the only family she would ever know because her father would be killed in action and her mother is always away on duty. Both her parents disappeared without a trace and was reported as MIA for she considered them as dead.

While in highschool, Ren was constantly getting herself into trouble with her short temper. So her grandfather Ramsey introduced her to the Martial Arts and meditation along with the use of the sword nodachi - Reiki, so she could learn to redirect her raw emotion. She could never totally get it under control but it did make things much better. After which, her educational years became so much easier.

Once Ren reached the age of eighteen, she enlisted into the military so she could see the universe and follow in her parents footsteps. Her grandfather was against it, her being his only relative left in this world along with little sister. But knowing that it was in her blood, it didn’t stop her. The military life came easy for her because she was used to being alone. Ren went on to become a very good VF fighter pilot and graduated at the top of her class at the academy.

After a few patrol assignments with little to no action, she was ready for something else. Her Meltran blood was longing for something more and she decided to put in a request for transfer to duty in deep space along with the Rogue Squadron.

While she waits for UN Spacy's response, Ren returned to New Asia to visit her grandfather and Lulu. She knows that he and her sister are all that is left of her family that she can visit. Ren loves her sister dearly that she always takes care of her whenever she is needed. She also knows that this might be the last time she ever sees them for a while.

Basic Personality:
She is very confident and comes from a rich family. She is well versed in traditional Japanese arts and traditions, yet still is a modern girl in her own right. She is the strong and dominant personality and is acts as the older-sister figure.

Aina is a nature lover and likes to take care of plants and flowers just the way she treats her patients. She is also a big fan of music and thus a close friend of the famous Celestine Winters. Sometimes, she’ll use a tonic made by Celest to treat her patients – a health drink that surely know you off your feet and at the same time the disease you’re carrying.

Like her Uncle Chiba, she adapted the theory of “sound energy” and used it to treat people who suffer Spiritia Drain.


Background Story:
Born on the planet called Eden, Aina grew up with in a rich family, with both her parents as pilots of the UN Spacy. Aina has been "flying since before she could walk" as the expression goes. Her mother used to take her flying in a VF-1S Valkyrie when she was just a child. Military brat life was the norm for Aina as she grew. She became fast friends with her parents' friend daughter, Samantha Lamiz. Both being of the same age, they went through school together and were pretty much attached at the hip. Joining various clubs and sports, sometimes it seemed the competition was more with each other than the opposing team. Aina seemed to excel at the physical sports quite a bit, especially Gymnastics. They also signed up with the school choir and sang.

Samantha's parents together with her own were pilots and then one day while they were still very young, both their parents were killed in action. Aina’s uncle – Gadget Chiba immediately took care of her and adopted Samantha, which brought the two even closer together.

Unfortunately, Aina was soon separated from her uncle, due to his work for the military, thus leaving her and Samantha with the housekeeper of the family. They both joined the Academy at the early age of 16, both showing a lot of promise to being good pilots. Aina and Samantha enjoyed a slight competition with each other, one pushing the other to be better. Thus they both tore through the program with a vengeance to graduate in two years rather than the required three.

Upon graduation, they were assigned to the squadron that was picked from the best of the graduating class for specialized bombing runs. During one of these runs, the squadron took heavy damage. Aina’s aircraft took quite a bit of damage, one of the engines almost going out. Aina was seriously injured when panel exploding next to her. Samantha had to make an emergency crash landing at two-thirds power. Seeing her friend almost killed before her eyes shook her up pretty bad. This made her lose focus and crashed her fighter and died. Because of this incident, Aina lost the urge of wanting to fly, she optioned instead for her secondary career choice as a doctor.

Receiving a promotion to Militray Doctor, Alicia was transferred out to Macross 27 while she healed her wounds of her past. There, she met the Macross Idol – Celestine Winters that reminded her of her late best friend Samantha. As a child, Aina fell in love with music and was a huge fan of the Legendary Lynn Minmay. The fortunate encounter of Aina and Celest made them close friends as Celest treats her like a big sister.

Since then she has devoted her entire life to find out exactly what part of her music affected people as it did. Gradually, she adapted the study of her uncle Chiba about “sound energy”. This research evolved into a study of all music and the effects it has on lifeforms and warfare.
