Physical Description: When not in uniform, he usually wears a white T shirt and his jacket, given to him as a gift, blue jeans and white shoes. Most recongnized by his light brown hair color and cheery, child like face, he is sometimes seen wearing a chain with a symbol similar to half a star.
Relationships: Family: Father- (67) His father is the only remaing living member of Edward's family. He is alwasy a source of knowledge and inspiration for Edward, often giving him advice on matters that Edward can't seem to sort out on his own. He is usually lost in thought, mostly thinkin of his wife, who died giving birth to Edward. For the first few years of his birth, his father hated Edward, seeing him as the one who took his beloved wife away from him, but later realizing that Edward was more like her legacy, a blessing rather than a curse.
Ally/Friend:Chris Altinan, his childhood friend, whom he gave the other half of his star. As kids, they got in and out of so much trouble together, they were nicknamed the Demon Duo. They swore to always be friends, and even though Chris did not join the army, Edward makes time to visit his best friend.
Basic Personality: A self proclaimed ladies man, he generally hits on anything with a skirt, be it friend or foe. Even in the middle of a battle he finds time to mince words with any girl he lays eyes on. Despite this, he never comes off as impolite or rude, always showing the proper respect to women of high class. He is very kind and thoughtful, always thinking of others safety before his own, often times getting hurt trying to protect his comrades. Not giving a second thought to his own well being, many a time has he been put out of comition for his own recklessness. He wants for nothing more than peace, so he joined the britannian army as a knightmare pilot to do his part to speed up the war and end it as soon as possible. His goal for the moment is to become a Knight of the Round. He knows that his age may prevent his becoming a Knight of the Round for some time, he simply suffices for doing whatever is in hes power to be done.
Other than flirting with girls, he enjoys reading manuals for different types of Knightmare frames, finding the flaws and weaknesses in them to exploit in battle, however so far, he has found few, if any such weaknesses, so more than not he mostly enjoys the pictures. He enjoys working in the different battle simulaters and improving his skill, stopping every once and awhile to flirt or shoot the breeze with passerby. Because of his hard training, he has becomea very skilled pilot. He is some what of a Homophobe, believing that if you prefer men over women, there is something seriously wrong with you.
Background Story: The first few years of his life were spent avoiding his father's scorn at the death of his wife because of him, Edward spent these years in the streets, roaming around and causing trouble, doing whatever he could to avoid his home life. On one such day, as he ventured out, he saw a young boy stealing something from a jewelry store. The store owner spotted the boy and chased him from the store. Rather than flee, Edward helped the boy, tripping the store owner as he ran by, and allowing both of them to escape. After they had gotten a safe distance and caught their breath, the boy introduced himself as Chris Altinan. He explained to Edward that he stole things to help provide money for his sick mother, who couldn't work. He asked for Edward to help him, who at first, refused. Eventually, after a large arguement/debate, Chris swayed Edward, saying, sometimes doing the right thing isnt doing the right thing.
And so, Edward and Chris spent the next few years robbing, and making a name for themselves as the Demon Duo, due to the fact that they wore all black clothes and hid their faces during their thefts. After getting the money to nurse his mother back to health, Chris and Edward stopped theire thievery and stayed friends for many years to come. They agreed on most everything, even in the type of girls that they liked. The one thing Chris and Edward disagreed on was joining the Britannian army. When Edward was 17 and Chris was 16, Edward announced that he was going to join the Britannian army as a knightmare pilot, to help speed up the end of the war. Chris was dumbfounded, and tried his best to sway his friend from such a path. Killing isnt the way to win a war, was Chris's stand on the matter, but he fell silent as Edward told him the same thing Chris had told him many years before. "Sometimes, doing the right thing isnt doing the right thing". Knowing that he couldnt tell his friend otherwise, he took something from his pocket. it was a necklace with a star at the end of it. He broke it in half and gave one piece to Edward. "let it be a reminder to you to never forget where you come from, and that you have friends here". Less than a week later, Edward enlisted in the army.
For the next 2 years, Edward worked hard to become the best pilot he could be. He promised himself that he would never do something that he didnt feel comfortable doing in the war, but he knew that if he was ordered to do it, he would have to. He felt regret at leaving his friend behind, but he knew that he had to do this, not just for himself, but for everyone this war had touched, for everything the war had taken from so many peoples lives, Britannian and 11 alike. He did it for them all.
