Varautan
Varautans are Earth Humans, descended from the human colonists on the Megaroad-13 Colony Fleet, who were captured and enslaved by the Protodevlin on Varauta Prime. For all intents and purposes they are normal humans, but with some neural and physical modifications, including low Spiritia levels, done by their former masters to make them into the zombie-like warriors they used in the Varautan War.
While free from the control of the Protodevlin, Varautans are still slightly different from Earth Humans, while their physical appearance remains the same. Also, because of the Varautan War, they are generally distrusted, specially by the Zentraedi, who hate anything connected with the Protodevlin. They are not Zentraedi and cannot become giant-sized – they are Micronians to the core.
• Micronized HP: +1d4 to HP at level 1
• +1 to PP and PE
• +2 to PE
• -3 to ME
• -2 to IQ
• Cannot use Micronization Chambers
Note: While it is possible to have Half Varautan characters (those who are offspring between Varautans and Earth Humans) the close proximity of the end of the Varautan War precludes them to be of the right age to be qualified adults (all are in the 3-5 year old ageframe), so they cannot be used as player characters and are very rare in the universe.
